Next cohort: 11 March 2025 · 18 seats
About this programme
A short, intentionally opinionated course for platform engineers introducing GitOps to a team for the first time. We use Argo CD throughout, walk through secrets handling without a vendor recommendation, and finish with a progressive delivery exercise using Argo Rollouts. Every learner finishes with a working repository they can adapt at work.
What is included
- Reference repository structure used throughout the course
- Secrets handling walkthrough covering three real options
- Progressive delivery exercise with canary and blue/green patterns
- Mentor-led code review of your repository in the final week
- Office hours with team-introduction templates and FAQs
- Optional follow-up clinic three weeks after the course closes
Outcomes you can speak to
- Stand up a working Argo CD setup against a sandbox cluster
- Defend a secrets handling decision against a sceptical security reviewer
- Lead a one-hour internal session introducing GitOps to your team

Common questions about this cohort
What recent learners said
“Three weeks felt right. Long enough to internalise the patterns, short enough that my team noticed I was missing.”
“The reference repository was the most valuable asset. We forked it the same week the course finished.”
“Solid intro. Wished the secrets section had spent longer on Sealed Secrets specifically.”
